What to Expect When You Work With South Charlotte Tree
Schedule a Quote
Schedule a Free Quote and Consultation at a time that is convenient for you. Typically we schedule morning quotes at 7:15am (for the early birds), and afternoon quotes between 2-5:30pm. Because we are on job sites from 8am onward, we can usually only offer a window of time for afternoon quotes. We aim to give at least 30 minutes notice before heading your way in the afternoon. For those who prefer an appointment time that is set in stone, mornings are best!
Meet With
Andrew or AJ
We are co-owners and operators! We love meeting with homeowners and helping you achieve your tree care goals. There are a wide range of opinions from “tree guys” out there, but you can trust that we have your (and your tree’s) best interest at heart. AJ is an ISA Certified Arborist, but both AJ and Andrew can help with any questions or concerns you may have.
Receive Your Quote
For most quotes, we aim to give you a firm price in-person, while we are together looking over the scope. You can trust us, that once we’ve agreed to a price, we will not change it on you (unless of course the scope changes!). We know how frustrating it can be for a homeowner to agree to a price, then only to have a contractor change that price last minute. That won’t happen with South Charlotte Tree Service.
Schedule the Work
Once we have a firm scope of work, and a set price, we will schedule your work for a time that is convenient for you. We are usually ~2 weeks booked out, but that varies depending on the time of year. Feel free to ask us if you have something more urgent, though, as we often have flexible clients who would be happy to reschedule if you have an urgent tree. While we do our best to stay on schedule once we set a date, unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally….rain, added scope, etc. can all shift our schedule slightly, but we will keep you updated either way.
Pay Upon Completion
Under most circumstances, we only accept payment once you are satisfied with the finished work. The exception would be for larger jobs that require 3+ days. We may require a 10% down payment in these instances.
