Pruning is the process of selectively trimming branches from your tree.

Beautifying your landscape, improving the structure and integrity of your tree, mitigating risks posed by hazardous trees or branches, and managing the size and presence of trees on your property are among the most important and common reasons we prune and trim trees.

Pruning is both an art and a science, and in our opinion, can be much more technical and nuanced than a full tree removal. We always prune trees using a “spike-less” method of tree climbing. This ensures that no damage occurs as a result of our accessing the tree for the work.

We are always honest with our clients on what to prune and how to go about trimming your trees appropriately. While some companies may encourage you to remove a tree close to the house, we will often encourage you to consider pruning to achieve your objectives rather than a full removal. This is case by case of course!
